Eaves Hall Wedding Photographer - Valentine Styled Shoot Inspiration

Valentine Styled Shoot At Top Lancashire Wedding Venue - Eaves Hall

The summer wedding season is almost upon us wedding photographers again (not that there aren’t winter weddings, there are, but summer is usually just slightly busier.) So, before it gets super crazy, I always like to do a couple of styled wedding shoots. One because I love doing them, two I get to hang out with a awesome bunch of like minded Lancashire wedding suppliers and three it gives you lovely brides and grooms some wedding inspiration!

When we organise styled shoots there are lots of meetings and we work from mood boards so that each supplier brings their own take on the brief to the table. The first shoot of 2020 was held at the beginning of February and was Valentine themed, lots of pinks and reds and was held at the gorgeous Eaves Hall in the Ribble Valley.

The day started with bridal preparations (very similar to a wedding day). Lou and Fiona were adding the hints of pink to model Jess’s hair and makeup whilst I was taking detail pictures, one my favourite things to photograph!! The dress was from designer Ronald Joyce and was chosen because of the flower detail all across the bodice and skirt, check it out below, stunning! x

Jo and Ashleigh created a gorgeous backdrop with a balloon arch and lots of flower arrangements in pinks and reds, finished with cream organza chair covers. The ceremony room at Eaves Hall looked spectacular! The cake was designed by Kerry from For The Love Of Cakes and Kirsty created our bespoke valentine inspired wedding stationary.

Generally, when we organise a styled shoot, the models are professional models, or people who have modelled before. Jess and Josh were neither, they were a couple in real life and they were total superstars! Ultimately I want my brides and grooms to relax during their portrait sessions, it should just be all about the two of you, enjoying the time away from family and friends, whilst I get creative. So, that is exactly what happened on shoot day. Jess and Josh went for a little stroll around the awesome gardens at Eaves Hall, they had a laugh, a little kiss, giggled on the swing and they had fun - that’s what its all about! xx

As always our styled wedding shoots were lots of fun, I love working with suppliers who have become my friends, so if you are looking for some serious wedding inspiration and a team of amazing Ribble Valley Wedding suppliers, then look no further. Check out the images below to see all the details from the shoot.

Enjoy, love Laura xx
