Elegant Wedding Bashall Barn Clitheroe - Lancashire Wedding Photography

Autumn Black Tie Wedding For Hannah And George!

Bashall Barn in the gorgeous Ribble Valley ticks all the right boxes for a relaxed Lancashire wedding venue, and its super popular with us photographers! Where else can you find a cow shed, a blank canvas interior, luxurious bridal suite and open views of the glorious countryside?! Perfect backdrops for portraits! I love this place - can you tell! With the introduction of the woodland ceremony area in 2020 this place will continue to be one of the top venues to get married at in Lancashire and I’m always super excited to get back to this place and shoot a wedding.

Natural Lancashire Wedding Photography At Bashall Barn

Hannah and George booked me way back in Summer 2018, they were looking for a fun, relaxed wedding photographer who spent lots of time capturing all the action but also gave them stunning couple portraits. After a brew and a chat they decided to book me and I knew right from that moment that their wedding day would be fun! Hannah and George had chosen to have a elegant wedding, all the groomsmen wore black tie, the bridesmaids in navy and Hannah looking gorgeous in a Justin Alexander gown from Lulu Browns Bridal in Clitheroe. With fresh flowers and lots of foliage the Bashall Brook ceremony room was dressed and ready for the wedding.

Ceremony On The Terrace

On the day of the wedding, the weather could not of been better, gorgeous warm sun basked Bashall all day. Hannah and George were able to get married in front of all their family and friends on the actual terrace area at Bashall which was lovely, we had some awesome light! Prior to the wedding, Hannah’s dad had been so emotional when he saw his daughter as a bride for the first time, there was not a dry eye in the bridal suites and this set the tone for the ceremony and wedding speeches, lots of happy, happy tears.

Bride & Groom Portraits At Bashall Barn

Honestly, Bashall Barn has so many unique and quirky areas for portraits, every time I visit I find a new spot to claim as my own - I’m sure every photographer does this too! I love taking my Bashall brides and grooms to the cow sheds, so long as you wear wellies everything is good and its always a pleasure to say hi to the cows, after all Bashall is still a working farm so it feels right to visit the shed. The woodland area is still work in progress and over the summer I’ve seen the area develop so much, I can’t wait to see the final product next year - its a super exciting space and gives the best views of the Ribble Valley.

First Dance & Party Time

Hannah and George had booked a band to play during their evening reception, and they chose Wonderwall by Oasis for their first dance song. After a very quick first dance, they invited family and friends to the floor and then it was time to truly party!! I had such a wonderful day capturing Hannah and Georges beautiful autumn wedding, guys thanks so much for choosing me to capture your special day it was a really honour. Here are some of my favourite moments from your wedding day.

Enjoy, love Laura xx
