Rochdale Wedding Photographer, Sarah & Jake Got Married!!

Yay!! Sarah and Jake its your turn on the blog. These guys are one of the loveliest couples I've had the pleasure of working with as a Lancashire wedding photographer, and I was super pleased that they chose me to document their very special wedding day. They were married in a very intimate wedding ceremony at the Moss Lodge Hotel in Rochdale.  I joined Sarah and her sister for bridal preparations on her wedding morning and the girls were super excited. Have you ever seen the film Tangled??  If you have, then you'll know the lead character has the longest hair in the world of princesses, well Sarah on her wedding day looked just like her!! Sarah has so much beautiful hair which was tied in a side plait and decorated with delicate gypsophila.  Sarah you truly did look like a princess!! xx

Sarah and Jake said I do with all their family and friends watching before heading outside for the confetti shot and group formals.  We were so lucky with the weather it was a lovely sunny day and after all formalities were completed, I took Sarah and Jake off for some alone time and to capture some relaxed portraits.  I honestly love all parts of a wedding day, but one of my favourite times is the couple portraits.  We get to chat, and the couple get to breathe a little and really see each properly for the first time.  Sarah and Jake totally rocked this part of their day and we had so much fun hunting out perfect spots within the grounds of the hotel and the blossom trees!!

Jake and Sarah finished celebrating with their evening reception at the Rochdale Masonic Hall, surrounded by more family and friends! Before heading off to Mexico to celebrate their honeymoon. Sarah and Jake thank you so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer it was a real pleasure and I had a lovely day. A big thank you to Amy who came along as my second photographer for the day, you were fab!!
