The Glass House Staining Lodge Lancashire Wedding Photography

Blush Pink And Rose Gold Themed Wedding For Scott And Laura At The Glass House Blackpool

There are so many Lancashire Wedding Venues that I have had the pleasure of shooting at, however The Glass House, Staining Lodge in Blackpool was a new venue for me to photograph and it truly did not disappoint!! What a beautiful place to get married and hold your wedding reception at!!

Scott and Laura were married on what felt like the hottest day in August from this years very brief British Summer at their local church, Our Lady and Saint Edwards in Fulwood. After the ceremony, they travelled in style in a 1960’s jaguar, which we used for a few portraits later on! xx

The guests were entertained throughout the meal with host and DJ Danny Finn who also presented the bride and groom with advice cards from their guests and a game of Mr and Mrs was played after the speeches.

The Glass House is a perfect venue choice for couple portraits, there are some lovely spots just by the edge of the golf course and an old disused barn which has some stunning blue doors! I’m a bit of a lover of quirky and urban backdrops so this was perfect for me to use and get some alternative portrait images!

After the cake cutting, Laura had requested a dance with her father before her first dance with new husband Scott which was super lovely to witness, Laura’s mum was certainly emotional watching the dance! After the traditional first dance as man and wife, we left the newlyweds to enjoy celebrating and partying with their family and friends!

Scott and Laura thanks for choosing me to be your Lancashire wedding photographer, your day was awesome! Enjoy this preview of your very special day.

Love Laura xx
